I view myself as a simple, friendly, moderate, sensitive,
creative and committed person who believes more in Allah,
than his abilities. At
present, I am working with monthly Shifa News International
Islamabad as Assistant Editor. My responsibilities here
include content planning for the magazine, supervision of
Editorial board and Designing section, writing articles,
editing (Urdu) the material written by editorial staff and
arranging brain storming sessions for monthly title covers.
The magazine is being run by Shifa International Hospital
Islamabad.
Before
joining Shifa News, I was working with an educational
magazine Tameer-e-Millat News International as Assistant
Editor. The magazine is being managed by Tameer-e-Millat
Foundation which is a sister organization of Shifa
International Hospital.I have produced a lot of material on
education during this period.
I also
worked with News and Current Affairs Channel of Radio
Pakistan Islamabad as anchorperson. The program given to me
was “News Comments”.
Prior
to this, I worked with Institute of Policy Studies Islamabad
as Research Assistant. My primary duty there was to manage
research material for the researchers. For this purpose,
Press Clipping Section was developed under my supervision. I
also used to coordinate the meetings and activities for the
staff members who were supposed to write articles for the
press. I have also been a regular columnist of a weekly
“Dusra Rukh” Chakwal.I have written more than 200 articles,
features, columns, which got published in different
dailies,weeklies and monthlies. |
